Sandusky County unemployment drops to 6.8 percent | Business
FREMONT, OH (Toledo News Now) – Unemployment in Sandusky County fell again in April, hitting 6.8 percent. That number is down from the 7.8 percent reported in March, and the 7.0 percent reported in April of 2012.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services estimates there are 29,500 employed Sandusky County residents, with 2,200 still looking for work.
Sandusky County is still above the statewide average for unemployment, which dropped to 6.7 percent in April.
